Anusha Sekhar is a self taught artist from Upstate,NY who draws inspiration from her South Asian background, personal experiences and the world around her. Her work has evolved to encompass various mediums, including acrylic, watercolor and mixed media. With a deep appreciation of color and texture, Anusha’s work often features vibrant hues and intricate details that draw the viewer in and bring her work to life. Her work most recently explores themes such as female empowerment, diversity, and colorism and aims to spark conversation and encourage reflection.
